well at least we had nice weather most of the weekend, always has to rain it seams like. we ended up leaving a littel early on sunday , and we drove hoem most of the way in the rain sunday evening.
jamboree events- well had some different events thsi year, lawn mower racing , i didnt make it over there to watch it. the schedule was off with problem with events in front of grand stands. but thats given ,problem happen. monster truck freestyle at night what you think of that. was kinda cool lettign them come right up front of the grand stands. they should of ran the ABUZER TRAXX .
looked like there was a few less vendors this year.
well i uploaded a bucnh of pcitures, so enjoy them.
well i guess we have to wait until next years jambo's , i bought a new truck right before i left for indy so next year jamborees i will be taken it. i uploaded pics of it too.
I worked my butt off down on the track !! Couldnt get those racers to stop runnin over the sensors....lol !! One class 3 hours !! We tried all day Saturday to catch up !! Was a great experience workin Indy !! Lookin forward to next year !!
Well, I did not get to see anything at the grandstands this year except the Mod Diesel pulls. I realize that there are always problems with the schedules, but this year was rediculous. Oh well...maybe next year I will just sit in the stands 12 hours a day and get to see something cool. It appears they have the layout pretty well sorted out and cruising was nice. Did not really think much of the mower racing. It was kinda cool, but not really truck/jeep related. And I really felt sorry for the nice black trucks parked downwind of the track. The track prep for the diesel pulls was pretty crappy also....way too much time between pulls to keep the excitement up. I hate to appear as a complainer, and overall we did have a really good time. It just seems like the organization of grandstand events gets a little worse every year. I enjoyed seeing many new or different trucks this year and the economy did not really seem to have much effect on the turnout IMO.

Indy didn't seem like it use to. It took my 3 hours to cruise around once saturday. I sat in one spot with the truck off for 45 mins. Also, I like the way the fairgrounds used to be laid out. When they had the show trucks where the trailers were parked this year, and we had that whole "entrance area" to cruise. The grassy area would be better for parking, I feel bad for the people that go stuck on the pavement. Just my opinion. I didn't make it over to the grandstands for anything so I dont have any input on that. Had fun tho.
I agree that how they ran things was ridiculous. Too much down time between rounds. They need to keep things interesting. No Photoline again this year was a disappointment also. Don't get me wrong I had a blast but they need to get their act together. And also disappointing was no Rock Crawl, I watched the lawn mower races but that was boring and nothing to do with an offroad show, I would rather see the rock crawls.
I agree that they definatly messed up when they did away with the rock crawls. Yes 4 Wheel Parts has a rock crawl but its completly different than the Jamboree's crawl, everything at 4 Wheel Parts was heavily built, yes they are as fun as anything to watch but I like seeing some mild modified rigs mixed in as well which was a good thing about the Jamboree's crawl. But Im sure stabil or whoever gave them alot of money to host. I will admit I wasnt even tempted to go watch the lawn mower races. Anyway enough of that, its over and done with. Wheres all the pics at? Didnt anyone get any? I havent found any so far except for Blackhocks
