Not trying to beat a dead horse here but will there be any changes in the security there??? This was talked about once before and never really heard any thing to promising. Ive talked to alot of people and we all pretty much agree we will not be going if there isn't. I just wanted to make sure before I make any hotel reservations and preregistered.

Ive always had a blast at this show but now having kids of my own there is alot of stuff I see there I don't want them around.

I agree Hillbilly, it has really went downhill the past couple years. I had absolutly 0 fun at 2009 show with all the stupidity going on

We don't have anything specific to announce, however, we can assure you these things are being discussed. We appreciate your comments making us VERY aware of the issue at hand. We want everyone coming to enjoy the Jamborees to have a great time!

Thanks for getting back with us. Like I said before I know you cant babysit that many people. But I know of 3-4 issues that was brought up to security and police and they did nothing. A friend of ours had some POS blast through the rocks hitting him and his truck and the police just sit there. He ask if they were going to do anything the cop replied aren't we all here to have a good time? I know you are paying theses people and they are not doing their job.

To follow-up on this discussion, we are working to make the Lima show a more family-friendly environment. While we won't go into specifics regarding our security, we will tell you we've been talking with our head of security (a retired police chief btw) and the local authorities regarding the "Spring Break" mentality that has become all too prevalent at Lima.
