We see your point. This show has the youngest average age of any show we do. It's truly a great and fun show, but we enjoy people bringing their families for the weekend and want to make sure they are comfortable to do so. We are reviewing the information we have regarding the weekend are already thinking of ways to improve the show in 2010. This was our 24th year and we plan on being back for many more.

seems like every 5 ft. of driving someone ask to blow smoke, and someone did a burnout in the gravel right it front of me. The fairgrounds need to be improved and concrete cruise route.

I enjoy all the jamboree's. Lima is one of my favorite out of the 3 Ive been to. Small town. Great fairgrounds for a show. But I do agree about all the smoke and people not having any respect for other people and the town. I bet I seen smoke blow in kids faces 20 times over the weekend. Do this to the wrong person there will be problems. When we left the Holiday Inn Sunday morning it was embarrassing seeing all the trash and stuff destroyed for no reason. There had to be 15 workers trying to get the place back in order. Some jackass trashed the flowers and knocked half the wood chips from the landscaping in the floor. Beer cans and trash all over the place. Its not te hard to pick up after yourself.

I would love to see more black top roads in the fairgrounds but Im sure that's up to the fair board.

Id like to see more security on the grounds with a zero tolerance policy. You do something stupid your out of the show. No questions.asked.

I think Family Events does a awesome job with all their events. Ive been a participant since 1993 and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. Id just like to see some of the childish BS stop.

Your right H.B. I picked up all the trash that was left from the nights before, it's not really that hard. And the smoke blowing thing was really bad, I seen alot of little kids get it blown in their faces. RidinHigh got his truck sprayed with mud and gravel Sat afternoon and they just laughed about it. We told event officials and they did nothing. Makes me not want to go back.

I am all for fun and partying, I have done dumb things, but only to my own stuff, never at the expense of someone else.

The encouraging thing for us to see is you, the participants, activating and voicing your opinions on this matter. It takes a group effort to make the change. If the inconsiderate people realize their actions aren't welcome that's a start. And if the younger kids see what is and isn't acceptable behavior then in a few years when they are driving themselves they will have hopefully learned how to act properly at a Jamboree and still have a great time. We are after all, "Family" Events.

I enjoy looking at all types of trucks. From mud trucks to show truck I give everybody respect. That's why I like Lima so much. Seems to be more of a verity there.

I try to watch my mouth when Im around kids. Ive been taking my son to the Jamboree's since he was born and he really enjoys himself. But when Im walking him around I have to avoid certain areas because of the idiots. It takes away part of the fun.

Not here trying to point fingers or say anything bad about Family Events. My hat is off to all of you that makes these shows happen. We have a blast. I just think some things needs to be looked into before it gets worse.

One of my biggest complaints is the entry fee ($65-$85) is the same as Indy. At Indy you are getting a top notch facility, Lima is just a county fairgrounds. They didn't even mow it until Fri when we were all there. It didn't rain while we were there on Thurs. they could have mowed it then.

I agree with HBD, if some changes do not happen, I think the "spring break" attitude will get worse, it has been for the past couple years.

I have attending this event as a participant for 12 years, and have been there for many more than that. I think you should look into the Ohio State Fairgrounds again.

I dont care about the reving it up. Thats there own stupidity. I have a HUGE problem with the deisels BLOWING smoke on people and KIDS. I seen babies in strollers get black smoke blown on them. Another thing is the train horns. They are cool and I would like one myself but again people dont pay attention on where they blow them. Our future is the kids and if they go at a young age and have a bad experience I really dought they will be back. Im with HB and INT on this. If things dont happen I wont be back.

I will continue to go to Lima. Im going to continue to be THE KING MONKEY NUT , making the kids and parents smile !! If we band together and work to keep the show "family" oriented, hopefully the idiots will get the hint !!
But Family Events needs to get their security force to enforce "family" not "spring break" type situations !! Why dont you permanantly post security where EVERY YEAR the trouble is ?? We ALL know what area of the fairgrounds is crazy !!

Plus putting in the fliers/confirmation letters about "smoking" or "sooting" spectators will not be tolerated would also help in serving notice to participants !!

That's a great idea King, zero tolerance on the smoking of spectators. I seen alot of unhappy faces after that was done to them.

I know its hard to babysit that many people. But if you all decide to change or enforce new rules let us know. We will be happy to pass it along on skyhighrides.com forums.
