The Heart and Soul of the 4 Wheel Jamborees

Mainly the layout, It could use some tweaking, but I thought it was way better than last year.

i dont think it was better than last year as far as the layout goes. they need to open ALL of the grounds to us. i did like the dyno and diesel pulls, which i hope they bring back.

I agree on the layout comments..........I think the last "good" year was about 2004. I also enjoyed the dyno and what pulls there were, but was a little dissapointed in the gas burner crowd. The dyno was there for everybody and I only saw a couple of gas guys try it. I talked to Dunbar on sunday and he had only dynoed something like 25 trucks, hell, 6 of them were from my home town! I really wish they could figure something out that works for everybody. I also thought it was stupid to have to drive all the way around the damn east end after I registered. They should have figured in the southwest parking lot in the cruise route very little action there.

I liked it much better than lastyear. It was spaced out alot but the traffic never got that bad. Good job everybody.

I think it went pretty well. It was a long way to walk around to see every truck, but we need that to avoid congestion.

It was very helpful to open up more gates late in the day so people could leave if they wanted.

I appreciate the hard work that Family Events puts into these shows. See ya next year.

I thought the layout of the fairgrounds worked pretty well wasn't much congestion on the cruise route. I sure got my exercise! The only complaint I really had that didn't effect everyone, was the judging. I got in the judging lanes at 10:20 and pulled out at 2:00 my day was pretty much wasted! Out of the 4 lanes in judging 2 of them went really fast, participants that got to judging an hour after me were back out and cruising way before I was??

I thought the layout could have been better. When I heard it was the complete grounds thought it would be great, then got there and half of the grounds was roped off kind of a disapointment. Cruise route was decent. They should have had more gates open for the participants after the truck was regesterd and had the sticker in the window, dont think we should have to go back though regestration area every time when entering the fair grounds.

better but needs little work. More tow rig parking and more exits. The trucks should of been able to come in off several entrys

I liked things better when everything was on the north side, back in the mid-late 90's.
Too much walking this year, made it hard to get to everything. I think I wore out a pair of shoes.
I had a great time. I would like to stick a boot in the rear of the guy driving the flat black crew cab Ford with the Train horn. Idiot

the layout idea was great "both sides of fairgrounds for use", but in the end there was alot of areas roped off by thursday early afternoon, was workable though. and the first half of manufacturers midway didn't allow enough room for cruising and walking, should have taken the cruise route through the parking lots (more likely to fill the parking areas with show trucks if the cruise lanes pass by, areas that were off the main path were overlooked) then back up the midway by the main stage, then behind the main grandstand and around the track. there was way too much parking in the cruise route and not enough cruising. made it tough to get to and from judging areas. but outside of tweaking on the cruise route was a great weekend!
